To the Minnesota Association of Pakistani Descent Physicians (MAPP), Minnesota chapter of The Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America (APPNA).

Mission Statement: Minnesota Association of Pakistani Descent Physicians (MAPP) exists to provide a platform to physicians of Pakistani descent in Minnesota to share medical information, and continuing medical education. It also provides opportunity for its members to network and collaborate with APPNA projects that includes charity work and social projects both locally and in Pakistan.

The first CME program by MAPP was held on
 Saturday July 9, 2011 at Griffin Auditorium Medtronic Neuromodulation Building 7000 Central Ave., NE Fridley, MN. Prof Adnan Qureshi and Jawad Bajwa, MD spoke on the occasion.  Click here for pictures from this event.

The first general body meeting of Minnesota
Association of Pakistani Descent Physicians (MAPP) was held on Sunday May 8, 2011 at Dr Munir Abid's home 3297 Samuel Ct. Vadnais Heights, MN 55127 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.  Click here to read general body meeting minutes.

During the fall 2010 meeting in Miami, APPNA council approved Minnesota Association of Pakistani Descent Physicians (MAPP). The Executive Council for MAPP for the year 2011.
